Lilly's boo boo

Yesterday Lilly fell at daycare and cut her chin open. I thought it looked pretty deep so we went to the doctor and she had to glue the cut shut. She's fine now and was well enough to read Rosemary a book before they went night night.

Rain rain go away

This past week it rained for 3-1/2 days and it was cold and windy. Finally Friday afternoon the sun came out just in time for the weekend. The Luke and the girl's decided to play in our canoe.
Everyone is happy to be outside!

Saturday afternoon Jonah and Luke decided to climb a tree. I had to climb into the tree to help Luke get up in it.

Once he was up in the tree he had no problem climbing higher.

Even though Jonah was higher in the tree, from time to time he worried Luke was climbing to high.

When it was time to get out of the tree I had to climb back up in the tree to help Luke get down.

All of us had a good time playing outside all weekend. I think the rain helped us appreciate the sunny warm weather even more.

What a fun Halloween

The night before Halloween I came in the den and saw Jonah and Rosemary cuddling in the bean bag watching a Halloween cartoon. They look so sweet!

Luke's class had a Halloween party and everyone dressed up. Luke was supposed to be Batman but decided to wear one of Jonah's old costumes, a bat costume. He is second from the right.

Halloween night we cooked dinner and took it over to Mom & Dad's House. They live in a neighborhood and we don't so we went over to trick-or-treat. Once again Luke was supposed to be Batman but decided to wear Jonah's old Spiderman costume. It was to big but he liked it. Lilly was a Lilly and Rosemary was a Rose. Jonah was a Skeleton Jester but none of my pictures came out of the four of them :(

Luke and Lilly
Lilly was so excited! Rosemary said Hi to everyone she saw.
Luke asked after every house, Can we go to one more house? This is the first year he really got into Halloween. All six of us started out together going from house to house, everyone walking except the girls- they road in the stroller. After about 30 minutes the girls started getting tired so we went back to the house to get ready for bed and the boys went on. Jonah and Luke came home with a ton of candy and treats, still excited about the fun night we all had.
Now that Halloween is over we can get to my FAVORITE holiday, Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait!
